- in  sunny los aageles was canyon coffee, roasted in la.. i found them at the echo park craft fair and their cold brew was to die for! find them by clicking  here!

- in salt like city, utah i found la barba, the cutest little store front shop, their brew was strong, just the way i like it, find them here!

-in park city, utah while shopping on main street i was in need of a cup of coffee & stumbled upon riverhorse provisions on main, their almond & soy lattes were phenom, check them out here!

-in prague, it was honestly hard to find a good cup .. but so coffee was soo good and also soo strong, find their locations here! ( they are also in france, poland, romania, and spain)

- but my favorite coffee in paris is one that comes with an outdoor seat to people watch & that would be at cafe ruc ( have the cafe expresso) find them here!

-& last but not least ( because i am always in search of my next cup of coffee) i found last year on christmas in dallas in the joule hotel, weekend coffee has a slow drip that takes forever but is totally worth it! check them out here!

-if traveling to any of these places i hope you visit, or if you are looking for some stocking stuffers for the coffee lovers in your life, these will definitely hit the spot! -xoxojackie

i thought over all our travels of 2016 and my favorite trip of the year was hands down the week we spent in napa, so i'm sharing some quick favorite stops we did along the way in case you want to plan your napa trip!  we rented a house in st. helena california (we were a larger group so it was nice to hang by the infinity pool and have mountain top dinners at home) downtown st. helena is also adorable!!  it's a cute little town with restaurants and boutiques.  now to the important part, the wine tastings.... here are the top 4 vineyards we went to based on taste and experience! first was silver oak  ( we arrived later in the afternoon on a wednesday with a group of  8 and they were able to give us a tour, a private tasting and the owner was there and gave us a tour of his private cellar- so i give this one 5 STARS) click here to tour their napa valley oakville winery next stop was tamber bey located in calistoga, california at the home of barry waitte. this private tasting takes place at his lovely home and gardens.  i am usually a cabernet fan but his 2015 unoaked chardonnay was the best white wine i've ever had!  third was opus one winery, their tasting room is open daily from 10am-4pm but in order to take a tour, which i highly recommend because the architecture is just as amazing as the taste of their 2013 vintage, you have to call to make a reservation, click here to reserve your tour!   the last one we went to was conn creek, their tasting room is open every day from 10:30am-4:30pm, it is located in the heart of napa valley in st. helena - right off the main road. one of the smaller tastings we partook in but was delicious, amazing service, and in the best location! Click Here To make a reservation ( or just stop by next time you find yourself in Napa! ) -xoxojackie

explore greece

the most magical party city, or so  i was told, i went for my spring break and it was not the happening season, still beautiful but a little too remote an isolated, so tip 1, make sure you go during the popular season mid may - june ( don't go early april.. don't do it!! ) I went to athens ( two days is plenty) & then five days in mykonos, we flew from athens to mykonos and tip 2 don't wear a hat in mykonos because mine flew off the second i got off the plane, and tip 3 don't try to give your cab driver an address in mykonos because fun fact, they don't have addresses there  - xoxojackie

wine not travel to texas!?

dallas, austin and the hill country! oh my!

we went for a little christmas get away from the cold ❄️✈️ flew in and out of Dallas: top dallas finds: (click on each to see more to help plan your trip!)

coffee: weekend coffee

bar: midnight ramblerbar

hotel: the joule

Rented a car 🚗 ➡️ &drove to the hill country!

Where we enjoyed wine/ bourbon / vodka and Olives 🍷🥃🍸

Top Hill country stops for:

wine : lewis wines  (the 2012 texas tempranillo was our favorite from their tasting )

bourbon: garrison brothers  (the cowboy bourbon was as good as their location - wood rocking chairs to enjoy your tasting in the hills )

vodka: dripping springs (they have gin too but my favorite find was their handcrafted Texas Orange 🍊)

olives: olive company ( olives / olive oils / you can pair with wine and their full menu and patio overlooking their olive fields)

🚗 ➡️xext stop was austin!

we stayed at the hilton on the water, with complimentary parking, beautiful rooms and views! only a 5 minute walk from 6th street and rainey street - our favorite two places we spent our time!

on austin's dirty 6 (6th street) we enjoyed live music and drinks at friends bar  - live music 7 days a week!

on rainey street our favorite stop was the container bar ( wall art/ amazing drinks/ and tacos 🌮 )

🚗➡️ then we were off to fort worth !

I mean when I think texas I think rODEO 🐂

we enjoyed the stock yards , the shops, the cowboys 🤠 the bull riding 🤡 and the music 🎶 even some two stepping at billy bobs

🚗➡️ arlington to at&t stadium to see a cowboys game for some live monday night football  🏈

the tailgating was amazing: tacos, live music, tvs and dancing. but you need to check out boomerjacks for some bar fun!

🚗➡️ back to dallas where we snapped some photos in front of the 30 foot eyeball across the street from the joule hotel ! Check it out here

packing hacks

when you end up traveling to and from different climates and locations all in a carry on because you aren’t patient enough to wait for your bag and are super scared of it getting lost 😂 packing becomes a skill set! so here are some hacks i’ve found to make it a little easier!

the best carryon I’ve found is by away, the bigger carryon that charges your phone on the go and comes with a built in laundry bag 🙌🏻 you can shop it :HERE

warm or cold you have to be ready to hit the beac, hotel pool or snow resort hot tub! I have a chic one piece from oneone swimwear that comes with its own travel pouch so no worry about wet suits and it’s perfect for all social occasions. shop the gigi bees plunging reversable one piece :Here

that carryon life means all those toiletries must be under three ounces. well those little cvs/walgreens ones don’t cut it for this girl. i found this set of refillable travel friendly containers (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shaving cream, even a spray bottle for my body oil) that come in a clear pouch in case of spills. get the isaac mizrahi travel bottle kit :HERE!

an electric toothbrush is something I’ve gotten very used to. but not very travel friendly. well… goby makes ones that has an easy replacement head for only $6 that can come off and on in a second. they just came out with an all black one with an all black replaceable head that’s deifinitly at the top of my christmas list! but i have their pink one 💕 shop it :Here!

obviously different temps means different humidity aka hair troubles. my harry josh pro tools dryer is travel friendly sized and an ion blow dryer to help keep my mane frizz free in all conditions. shop :Here!

Along with the Harry Josh pro tools premium oval brush for quick on the go brush throughs that done ruin the curls 👌🏻 Shop :Here!

fall is scarf weather no matter where you are, Iilove versatile ones that can be made into a shall or a scarf or an in-flight blanket. the options are really endless, my go too is zara’s beige smooth feel scarf with frayed edges that you can shop :Here!

sleep! Is something that we need always but a little extra when traveling and lighting conditions aren’t always the best so I’m a big fan of an eye mask. i’ve found the 100% silk eye mask by slip is anti-aging and anti bed head for the win! shop it :Here!

makeup is a duh 🙄 travel pack not a hack but a tinted moisturizer like no7 city light tinted moisturizer with spf 15 is a quick wash all weather friendly travel base! shop it :Here!

& a quick non clumping volume eyes mascara by kiko that is also a serum to help your eyelashes grow longer. shop it :Here!

& a lot of black clothing 😂
